Nice Côte d'Azur Airport is the second busiest in France, handling over 14 million passengers a year. Located just 6 km from Nice city centre and 33 km from Cannes, it is the main gateway to the French Riviera. The airport has two main terminals: Terminal 1, primarily handling international flights, and Terminal 2, dedicated to Air France and certain long-haul routes. Both terminals are connected by a free shuttle running every 5 minutes.
To reach Cannes from the airport, several options are available. The Lignes d'Azur bus takes around 1h30 with multiple stops. The train from Nice Saint-Augustin station, walkable from Terminal 2, takes between 30 and 40 minutes but may require a change at Antibes depending on timetables. The most comfortable and fastest option is undoubtedly a private chauffeur transfer: allow approximately 30 minutes door-to-door to reach Cannes, with pick-up directly at the arrivals exit.
